Join us for Game Night and have-at-it with 15 – 20 professional athletes (Eddie’s Friends), showing off your athletic skills in competitions such as: pop-a-shot; putting green; football toss; baseball toss; corn hole; and even exhibiting your coolness in doubling down at the blackjack table in Casino Corner.
Not inspired by the opportunity to compete in games for financial prizes? Be inspired by our “Meet the Mom” segment where you can spend a few minutes each with a group of Helping Hands for Single Moms clients, women who are facing incredible challenges and sacrifices as they worked, attended college and raised their children.

Growing up in a tough neighborhood in Chicago, Illinois, surrounded by drugs, gangs and violence, Eddie was faced with many challenges on a daily basis. He was the sixth child of seven and was raised by a determined single mother. It didn't take long before Eddie realized that he could stay out of trouble by focusing on school and basketball. With vision, a strong desire and unending support from his mother and siblings, Eddie finished high school.
